Yusmarg sits closer to the Pir Panjal range than most valley destinations, ringed by tall pine forest with the Doodh Ganga stream running along one edge. It's included only in our longer Ultimate Kashmir Exploration itinerary, since most standard tours skip it entirely.
It's a good stop for travellers who've already seen Gulmarg and Pahalgam and want a genuinely quieter meadow rather than a repeat of the same view.
