Plain terms for a transport business. If anything here is unclear, ask before you book rather than after.
Who you are contracting with
Snowline Tours & Travels, a road transport operator based in Sonmarg, Jammu and Kashmir, trading through this website and by telephone and WhatsApp.
What a booking covers
A vehicle and a driver for the journey or the period agreed. Unless stated otherwise in writing, the fare includes fuel, tolls, parking, state permits and the driver’s time, and excludes accommodation, meals, entry and gondola tickets, pony charges, and any local union vehicle required for the final stretch of a destination such as Aru or Chandanwari.
How fares are quoted
Every fare is quoted per vehicle, not per person, and is confirmed in writing — normally in the WhatsApp conversation — before travel. The confirmed figure is what you pay. Extra stops, a longer route or waiting time well beyond what was agreed are charged only if you ask for them and agree the amount at the time.
Deposits and payment
The deposit policy is being finalised and will be published here in full. Until it is, what applies is whatever Rashid confirms to you in writing when you book — nothing is taken automatically by this website, which has no payment gateway.
Cancellation
The cancellation terms are being finalised and will be published here in full. Until then, tell Rashid as early as you can and the position will be agreed with you directly in the same conversation the booking was made in.
Roads, weather and things outside our control
Mountain roads close. The Zojila pass shuts through winter, and any road in the valley can be blocked at short notice by snow, landslide, weather or an administrative order. Where a route cannot be driven safely or legally, Snowline will tell you as soon as it is known and will offer an alternative date, an alternative route, or a refund of anything already paid for the part not driven. Snowline is not liable for onward costs such as flights, hotels or tours booked with third parties.
Your responsibilities
Give an accurate passenger and luggage count so the right vehicle is sent. Be ready at the agreed pickup time. Seat belts are to be worn. Drivers may decline to continue where behaviour makes the journey unsafe.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of India, and the courts of Jammu and Kashmir have jurisdiction.
