Booking

A booking is confirmed once Snowline Tours & Travels has agreed an itinerary and price with you and received the advance payment described below. Prices quoted are specific to the dates, group size and hotel category agreed at the time — they are not guaranteed for any other dates.

Advance and payment

25% advance to confirm the booking, balance on arrival in Srinagar.

Bank transfer or UPI. A receipt is sent for every payment.

Cancellation

• • 15+ days before travel — full refund of the advance, less bank charges.
• • 7–14 days — 50% of the advance is retained.
• • Under 7 days — the advance is non-refundable.
• • Roads closed by snow, weather or administrative order: we reschedule at no extra cost, or refund whatever has not already been paid to hotels on your behalf.

What's included

Inclusions and exclusions are listed on every package page and confirmed again in your written quote. Only what is listed under inclusions is covered by the quoted price — anything else, including local union cab rides, gondola tickets, permits and personal expenses, is paid directly by you as it comes up.

Changes and delays outside our control

Roads in Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh can close due to snowfall, landslides, weather, or administrative and army convoy movement. When this happens, we will reschedule affected parts of your itinerary or refund amounts not already paid to hotels on your behalf, at no additional cost to you. Snowline Tours & Travels is not responsible for costs arising from flight delays, cancellations, or events beyond our reasonable control.

Altitude and health, Ladakh itineraries

Ladakh itineraries reach altitudes above 3,500m. Altitude sickness can affect anyone, regardless of fitness. We build in an acclimatisation day, but travellers are responsible for informing us of any relevant health conditions before booking and for consulting a doctor if unsure about fitness to travel to high altitude.

Liability

Snowline Tours & Travels arranges transport, accommodation and sightseeing in good faith with vetted local partners, but is not liable for injury, loss or damage arising from the acts of hotels, drivers or third parties, or from events outside our reasonable control such as weather, natural events or government restrictions.

Governing jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from a booking with Snowline Tours & Travels is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir.
