Day-wise itinerary
Airport pickup, check-in, and an afternoon at the Mughal gardens followed by a Dal Lake shikara ride at sunset.
Stay: Srinagar
Drive north to Sonmarg (about 3 hours) along the Sindh river. Time at the Thajiwas Glacier viewpoint, then back to Srinagar for the night.

Drive to Gulmarg, walk the meadow and ride the gondola toward Apharwat if you'd like. Return to Srinagar by evening.

Drive to Pahalgam via Anantnag (about 2.5 hours). Visit Betaab Valley and Aru by local union cab, then stay overnight by the Lidder river instead of driving back the same day.

En route back to Srinagar, detour to Doodhpathri — a quiet, gently rolling meadow with grazing ponies and a stream running through it, far less visited than Gulmarg or Pahalgam. Continue to Srinagar for the night.

Free morning, then transfer to Srinagar airport.

- Costs arising from weather, road closures or convoy delays

Stays on this itinerary are standard or deluxe category, depending on what you'd like to spend — we name the exact property in your quote once your dates are confirmed.
Things to know
- Gulmarg gondola tickets are bought on the spot and aren't something we can pre-book.
- Union cabs at Aru, Betaab Valley and Thajiwas are locally controlled and paid directly, not part of the package price.
- Roads can close on short notice after heavy snow — we rebuild the day plan around it rather than push through.
- Carry a valid photo ID at all times; it's checked at several points through the valley.
Cancellation policy
25% advance to confirm the booking, balance on arrival in Srinagar.
- • 15+ days before travel — full refund of the advance, less bank charges.
- • 7–14 days — 50% of the advance is retained.
- • Under 7 days — the advance is non-refundable.
- • Roads closed by snow, weather or administrative order: we reschedule at no extra cost, or refund whatever has not already been paid to hotels on your behalf.
