Frequently Asked Questions
Booking & Payment
Send us your travel dates and group size on WhatsApp or through the enquiry form. Rashid will put together an itinerary and a fixed price, and you confirm with a 25% advance once you're happy with it.
25% of the total package price confirms your booking. The balance is paid on arrival in Srinagar.
Bank transfer or UPI. A receipt is sent for every payment you make.
15 or more days before travel, we refund the full advance less bank charges. Between 7 and 14 days, 50% of the advance is retained. Under 7 days, the advance is non-refundable. If roads close due to snow, weather or an administrative order, we reschedule at no extra cost or refund whatever hasn't already been paid to hotels on your behalf.
It depends on hotel availability for the new dates and whether the extra day adds a new destination. Tell us what you'd like to change and we'll confirm the price difference, if any, before you decide.
No. The price we quote covers everything listed under inclusions for your package. Anything outside that — gondola tickets, union cabs, personal expenses — is listed clearly under exclusions before you book.
Let us know as soon as you can on WhatsApp. We'll adjust the pickup time or, if needed, the first day's plan. Airfare itself isn't something we can control or refund, but we'll do what we can with the itinerary around it.
Travel & Transport
Yes — a private vehicle with driver for the whole trip, along with fuel, tolls, parking and driver allowance, is included in every package.
Yes, the same vehicle and driver stay with you for the length of your trip unless a mechanical issue makes a swap necessary, in which case we arrange a replacement at no cost to you.
No. Those short stretches are controlled by local union cabs at each spot and paid on the spot — this is standard across the valley and not something any operator can bypass.
Yes, Srinagar airport pickup and drop is included in every package, at any hour your flight lands.
We track the pass daily during the travel season. If it closes unexpectedly, we hold you safely on the Kashmir or Ladakh side, whichever you've reached, and adjust the itinerary rather than attempt the crossing.
No — prepaid SIM cards issued outside Jammu & Kashmir are barred in the region. Carry a postpaid connection, or buy a local prepaid SIM with valid photo ID on arrival.
Stay & Meals
Standard and deluxe category hotels we've personally seen or stayed in. We name the exact property in your quote once your dates are confirmed.
Daily breakfast and dinner are included at the hotel. Lunch is excluded so you can eat where you like while out sightseeing.
Yes — tell us at the time of booking and we'll confirm it with the hotel in advance so it's arranged from your first meal, not requested on the spot.
It's a different experience rather than a better or worse one — a houseboat puts you right on Dal Lake with a shikara for transfers, while a hotel gives you more room to move around freely. Several of our itineraries include one houseboat night so you get both.
Yes, but not always reliably stocked or working, especially in winter. Carry sufficient cash from Srinagar before heading out to smaller towns.
Weather, Permits & Safety
No — gondola tickets are sold on the spot at Gulmarg and aren't something any operator can pre-book on your behalf. We plan an early arrival to help you get in the queue sooner.
Not on any specific date — snowfall varies year to year and even week to week in winter. December through February is the most reliable window, but we can't guarantee snow on a given day.
We rebuild the day's plan around it rather than push through an unsafe road — sometimes that means swapping the order of destinations, sometimes waiting a day. We'll always tell you plainly what's happening and why.
Yes, and it isn't related to fitness level. Leh sits above 3,500m, and we build a rest day into every Ladakh itinerary before continuing to Nubra or Pangong. Drink plenty of water and take the first day slowly.
Nubra Valley and Pangong Tso require an inner-line permit, arranged locally in Leh once you arrive — this isn't something we can issue in advance, but we point you to the right office.
It's a free, mandatory RFID card collected at the Katra counters or registered online in advance. We brief you on the process, but the registration and the climb itself are managed directly by each pilgrim.
Yes, helicopter tickets to Sanjichhat are available but sell out early in the day through the official booking system — decide before you arrive if you'd like this option, as it isn't something we can guarantee on short notice.
Yes, and we take the same care with every guest — a vetted driver for the whole trip, hotels we know personally, and Rashid reachable directly on WhatsApp at any hour if anything feels off.
Thermal layers, a proper winter jacket, waterproof boots, gloves and a cap. Hotel rooms are heated, but you'll want real winter layers for the outdoors, especially in Gulmarg and Sonmarg.
