Day-wise itinerary
Airport pickup and check-in. A gentle first day — Nishat garden if the weather is clear, otherwise rest and adjust to the cold before heading uphill tomorrow.

Drive up to Gulmarg (about 1.5 hours, roads permitting after snowfall). Check in and spend the afternoon in the snow-covered meadow.

A full day in Gulmarg — the gondola runs conditions-permitting, and sledging, skiing lessons and snowboarding are available locally and paid on the spot. Return to Srinagar in the evening.

Drive to Pahalgam via Anantnag (about 2.5 hours) for a quieter, winter look at the Lidder valley, with far fewer visitors than in summer. Return to Srinagar by evening.

Things to know
- Gulmarg gondola tickets are bought on the spot and aren't something we can pre-book.
- Union cabs at Aru, Betaab Valley and Thajiwas are locally controlled and paid directly, not part of the package price.
- Roads can close on short notice after heavy snow — we rebuild the day plan around it rather than push through.
- Carry a valid photo ID at all times; it's checked at several points through the valley.
Cancellation policy
25% advance to confirm the booking, balance on arrival in Srinagar.
- • 15+ days before travel — full refund of the advance, less bank charges.
- • 7–14 days — 50% of the advance is retained.
- • Under 7 days — the advance is non-refundable.
- • Roads closed by snow, weather or administrative order: we reschedule at no extra cost, or refund whatever has not already been paid to hotels on your behalf.
